Kat Chester here. I’ve been thinking about some of the comments i have received on this blog and in fact some convosations i had with some of my best mates in maths and in design today. For those of you on my msn contacts you may have noticed that i am trying to have a new start.

This includes:

• Forgetting my slightly weird past
• Being extra nice to everyone
• And basically trying to not be such a complete retard.

My friends have all said they will forgive me for anything that has happened in the past and i’m making a fresh start, turning over a new leaf. My goals are:

• To be nice to everyone
• not annoy teachers so much by never doing my homework
• to not care about boys
• hopefully not give people any reason to insult me everywhere i go

This blog is just gonna be about my random views on things. Not views on myself cause people just seem to always disagree with me whatever i say.

My first random insight into how i think begins with me driving along a back road with my mother in her old banger Volvo on the way home from visiting my gran on Sunday. As we drove past the house where my childhood best friend used to live we saw 4 cows straying on the road. Thankfully my mum grew up on a farm and i have loads of experience. We moved them to the side of the road and then drove to the farm to tell someone. At the front gate was a huge sign saying that basically you weren’t allowed in because they had some random pig disease there. We went to the farmhouse next to the gates and told the man there about the cows and he rang the farm owner. As we drove away another couple was trying to turn in to tell someone about the cows. We told them that the farmer was now coming to sort it out and everyone drove off.

The fact that not only had we (who know the farmer) gone to tell them but complete strangers had to. Real community. When we were nearly home my mum told me that although the first set of gates where the sign was were open if you followed the track there were more(locked) gates further ahead.

i don’t really know why that seemed so strange that while i was concentrating on the fact that we couldn’t warn the farmer because of their pig disease, my mum was concentrating on the more physical barriers.

That sounds really weird but whatever.

I really hope that i can become a better person.
